Privacy Policy

This is a draft written for a small subscription app, not by a lawyer. Have it reviewed before relying on it.

What we collect

• Account: your name (optional) and email address, and a hashed password.
• Saved spots: the name, note and coordinates of any spot you save.
• Scan history: the area, timestamp and spot count of each scan you run, used for your history tab and to enforce the daily scan limit.
• Billing: Stripe handles your card details directly; we only store your subscription status, plan and renewal date.

What we don't collect

We don't sell your data, run ads, or share your saved spots or scan history with anyone else.

Third parties

We use Stripe for billing, Resend for transactional email (password resets), and USGS/BLM/OpenStreetMap services to run scans. Each only receives what it needs to do its job.

Your data, your control

You can delete any saved spot at any time from the Saved tab. To delete your account and all associated data, contact us; we'll also cancel any active subscription first.

Location data

We don't track your device's location. We only know the map areas you choose to scan and the spots you choose to save. We never share those with anyone, and we never use them to direct you anywhere.

Safety and liability

Flock4Gold shows the results of calculations on public map data; it does not recommend visiting any location. Going to any place you saw in the app is at your own risk. See our Terms of Service for the full safety, assumption-of-risk and limitation-of-liability terms.

Changes

We may update this policy as the product changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the new policy.
