Find where rivers drop their gold.
Scan a stretch of river country and get a ranked list of places worth sampling, each with a plain reason — “Inside of a 120° bend”, “Stream levels out from 8% to 1% grade”.
01 /How it works
- Scan. Pick a square on the map, from 3 × 3 mi up to 12 × 12 mi depending on your plan, and press Scan.
- Ranked spots. Every bend, level-out, junction and old bench gets scored and ranked.
- Claims, access and old channels. See who owns the land, whether you can walk there, and where rivers used to run.
02 /What it finds
Sharp bends
The inside of a curve, where water slows and gravel bars build up.
Level-outs
A steep stretch that suddenly flattens, where the water drops heavy material.
Junctions
Just below where two streams meet, where the flow works harder.
Gold nearby
Recorded gold mines and finds within 6 km, weighted by direction and distance.
Old benches & channels
Gravel left behind by earlier, higher rivers, found from the elevation grid.
Claim status
Green is open BLM/Forest Service land, red is an active claim, gray is off-limits.
Public access
See which open land a public road actually reaches, versus landlocked.
3D terrain
Tilt the map over real elevation so benches and valleys stand out.
Saved spots
Keep a personal list with notes, fly back to them anytime, export as GPX.

04 /Honest limits
- Will this find me gold?
It finds places worth sampling, not guaranteed gold. You still have to go pan them.
- Where does it work?
United States only — the data sources are USGS and BLM.
- Is the land and claim data reliable?
It's a guide, not a legal answer. Claim shapes are approximate, and some withdrawals can't be mapped. Always confirm on BLM MLRS and with the local BLM or Forest Service office before digging.
- Can I cancel anytime?
Yes — manage or cancel your subscription anytime from the billing portal on your Account page.
